Join Glenn in his workshop in Co Carlow via Zoom where he will deliver a 90mins Demonstration on how to Turn a Platter.
Turn a Platter
I have turned many platters during my time as a production turner, experimenting with rim designs and form.
In this demo I will turn a classic platter with an elegant rim detail. I will be discussing the pros and cons of quarter material along with tool techniques and chucking methods.
Appropriate finishes for use with food will also be discussed.
