Join Glenn in his workshop in Co Carlow via Zoom where he will deliver a 90mins Demonstration on how to Turn a Thin Wall Bowl
In this demonstration I will turn a thin wall bowl using unseasoned wood and traditional tools. Learn how to predict how the wood will move as it dries. This is a great project to help perfect tool techniques as many of the challenges encountered on this project are relevant to any bowl or platter you make.
Problems such as torn grain, flexing of the thin wall, vibration of tools and turning off the tenon will be discussed
This meeting will start at 5pm Irish time, and the room will be open 30mins beforehand, at 4.30pm Dublin Ireland time:
9am Pacific daytime, 10am Mountain daytime, 11am Central daytime, 12noon Eastern daytime, 6pm Western Europe, 5pm Ireland and GB.
